Clarey Rita Mae July 22, 1926 - October 1, 2010. Rita's spirit has risen to heaven to meet her God, her husband and eldest son who preceded her in death. Soon she will be a part of a very special and long awaited McCrady Reunion with her parents and 10 brothers and sisters. Her death will bring to close a generation whose memories we will all cherish. Her last days were spent in the peace and comfort of her home in Sparks, Nevada with her daughter Peggy Clarey and son-in-law, Fred Conner. Rita was born at the farm on Pumping Station Road. Fairfield County, Ohio. She grew up in Sugar Grove, Ohio, attended and graduated from Berne Union School in Sugar Grove, Ohio. Rita was the youngest child born to Charles and Rosemary (Shonebarger) McCrady. Rita was married to Wilbert A. Clarey for 56 years before his death in 2006. At that time she moved to Nevada to live with her only daughter. She had four children: Daniel (Linda), Peggy (Fred), Bruce (Alise), and Andrew (Laura). She had six male grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a Nurses Aid at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital for over 20 Years. G.C.O.H. is located less that one block from the family Home on Cardwell Street, Garden City, Michigan. Her interests included playing cards, bingo, casino gambling and creating Jewelry Pictures. With "Web", she became an active and enthusiastic member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, starting in the mid 50's at Johnsons Post #78, on Joy Road in Detroit, Michigan, and ending her service at Battle Born Post #9211 on VFW Historic Lane in Reno, Nevada. She was anointed by Father Norman King from the Immaculate Conception Church. Her remains will be at the Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan. Instead of flowers or gifts, remembrances can be PAID FORWARD.

Elmer Jr. "Newt" Ketchum Homer Passed away at Allegiance Hospice Home January 4, 2011 age 87 years. He was born to Elmer Sr. and Beulah Ketchum who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Rosalie and his second wife Audrey. Surviving are one daughter Susan (Richard) Ludwig of Jackson, one son John Ketchum of Arizona, three step-sons; Bob (Diane) Pritchard, David Pritchard and Carl (Serena) Pritchard, one step-daughter Brenda ( Paul) Hall, Three grandchildren; Troy and Kaitlyn Ludwig and Taylor Ketchum and his mother Patty, eleven step-grandchildren and nineteen step-great-grandchildren. He was a Navy pilot during WWII, graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, was a longtime employee for Combustion Engineering in Detroit, Mi. and retired from Consumers Power Co., was a member of the 1064 Flying Club, owning two aircrafts, a Cessna 150 and a Cessna 170. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and skiing. Mr. Ketchum is at the Watson Funeral Chapel where services will be held Friday 10:30 a.m. the Reverend Andrew J. His ability to reach bodies, hearts and minds was legendary. Rob was gifted at articulating the pilgrimage towards consciousness. Rob was the enthusiastic president of Kirkwood Lake Association for 20 years. Rob loved to fish with his brothers and friends on the beautiful Michigan waterways. Zachary L. Bagwell Oakland Park, Florida Zachary Lee Bagwell, my son, my heart, died, Saturday, January 1, 2011 in Oakland Park, Florida. He was born August 7, 1976 to Doug and Joanne (Wolney) Bagwell in Battle Creek. In fact, Zac was born on his parents' 11th wedding anniversary and was the fifth of six children. He graduated from Harper Creek High School and then had a few odd jobs until getting into the plumbing trade. Zac moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida which he grew to love and call home and where, like always, he made many friends. His infectious laugh, smile and personality made him a joy to be around. Zac is survived by his mother, Joanne Bagwell of Battle Creek; sisters, Becky (Todd) Rust of Battle Creek and Angela Bagwell of Grand Rapids; brothers, Brian (Brenda) Bagwell of Ceresco, Douglas (Lori) Bagwell of Battle Creek and Charles Bagwell of Battle Creek; niece and nephews, Bailey, Bryce, Jackson and Leo Bagwell will also sorely miss him. They will always remember how much they loved it when Zac played with them and teased them. He also leaves behind a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins who he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his father on April 2, 2010. They can now be together againhappily in Heaven where they will pray for us and we for them.
