"Welcome home, thou good and faithful servant." We can just imagine the joy that Jim experienced as he walked into his Savior's arms and heard those words on Friday morning, Oct. 9, 2009; going from his loved ones at home immediately to his Lord. This is what he had looked forward to and taught all of his life. His only regret was leaving Kathleen, his wife, behind. They shared 40 years of love and work together and their's was truly a love story. Everything that Jim, as a pastor, had conveyed to couples before marriage and during marriage counseling he lived himself. Jim and Kathleen completed each other and had truly "become one". |
