Arthur Gerhart Wyatt, 58, of Osseo passed away on April 15, 2010, at home with his family by his side following a long illness. He was born on March 21, 1952, in Ann Arbor, Mich., the son of Wilbur and Della (Wetherbee) Wyatt. He married Phyllis VanBurskirk on Aug. 20, 2004, and she survives. He had one daughter, Heather Renee Elizabeth Wyatt of Adrian, and one stepson, Jason VanBuskirk of Hillsdale. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, William J. Wyatt; and one niece, Christina Marie Applegate. Survivors include one brother, Frank (Barb) Wyatt of Adrian; and two sisters, Diana Schock of Ann Arbor and Flo (Al) Jones of Kingston, Tenn. Art had one grandson, Gabriel James Dwight; and many, many nieces, nephews and friends. Art enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, racing, horseback riding. He will be missed by all.  Arrangements are by J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home in Adrian. Art will be cremated and there will be a memorial at a later date.   Freida E. Cunningham, age 94, of Coldwater, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at The Laurels of Coldwater. The service will be held on Saturday, April 24, at 11 a.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater, with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Interment will be Monday, April 26, at 1 p.m. at Mount Ever Rest Cemetery in Kalamazoo. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 23, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home. Freida was born March 3, 1916 in Bridgeport, Ill., to Fred and Minnie (Newell) VanScyoc. She married Willis R. Cunningham in 1941 in St. Joe, Mo., and he preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 1980. Freida lived in Delton for many years before coming to Branch County. She was a longtime employee of the former Holbrook-Patterson Co. in Coldwater and had sold Stanley Home Products and Avon for many years. As much as she loved the products, she enjoyed the socialization of door to door sales. Mrs. Cunningham attended the former Bible Baptist Church in Coldwater and her love of children led her to many years of babysitting and acting as “Grandma” to many. Freida loved flowers and mushroom hunting, but most of all she enjoyed her family, especially her many grandchildren. Freida is survived by her daughter, Linda Sue Weems of Stephenville, Texas; her sons, Laird (Mary) Cunningham of Delton, Gerald (Sue) Cunningham of Kalamazoo, Paul Cunningham of Coldwater, Jeffrey Cunningham of Bronson and Kim (Jody) Cunningham of Coldwater; 17 grandchildren; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Cunningham in 1983, one brother and one sister. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association. |

Gertrude L. “Betsy” Avery, age 101, of Sturgis, passed away Thursday morning, April 15, 2010, at Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis. She was born Aug. 25, 1908, in Wabash County, Ind., a daughter of the late Edward U. and E. Blanch (Keel) Wetters. Mrs. Avery had resided in Sturgis since 1944, coming from Bippus, Ind., where she graduated from Bippus High School with the class of 1926. On July 30, 1944, she married Harvey G. Avery in Sturgis. He died Sept. 8, 1991. Mrs. Avery had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service until moving to Sturgis. Following her marriage she assisted her husband in the Avery Studio and Camera Shop in Sturgis. She was a member and past president of the Business and Professional Woman’s Club. She was a life member of the Professional Photographers of Michigan and Sigma Phi Gama-Beta Chapter of Huntington, Ind., and an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis.   Ilah M. Hand, age 88, of Bronson, passed away peacefully at home on April 21, 2010, with her family at her side. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Ilah was born June 26, 1921 in Girard Township to Howard and Alta (Showers) Vincent. She married Carlyle W. Hand on Jan. 16, 1940, in Angola, Ind. Ilah had worked at Douglas Manufacturing during World War II and later in housekeeping at the Community Health Center of Branch County and the former Carriage Inn in Coldwater. She enjoyed taking care of her family and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Ilah is survived by her husband, Carlyle “Peck;” her sons, Warren (Barb) Hand and Jerry Hand. both of Chiefland, Fla., and Terry (JoAnn) Hand of Carlisle, Pa.; her daughters Maxine (Rick) Moore and Darlene Curtis, both of Bronson; brother J.W.; sisters Bernice, Rosemary, Shirley, Joyce, Lula Belle and Patty; her grandchildren, Randy, Rod, Ronnie, Roger, LaDonna, Mike, Nicki, Ricki and Brandon; along with many great- and great-great-grandchildren; and also special friend and caregiver LaShanna Spence. James E. Yoder, 82, of Sturgis, Mich., and Weslaco, Texas, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, surrounded by his family at the Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born Aug. 11, 1927, in Nottawa, Mich., a son to the late Ernest and Lovina (Eicher) Yoder. Jim resided in the Sturgis area most of his life. In 1950 he married Jackie Bowen. She preceded him in death on March 23, 1999. On Sept. 25, 2005, he married Mary Reed. He was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Army from 1950-1952 during the Korean War stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C. Following his honorable discharge from the Army he and Jackie returned to Sturgis and resided there and raised their family. Following their retirement he and Jackie began spending their winters in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. Jim and Mary were currently living in Sturgis and also Winter Texans in Weslaco. In the 1950s and ’60s he was a member of many championship fast-pitch softball teams. He was a very talented southpaw first baseman. Jim continued his love of sports encouraging and cheering loudly at his sons athletic events. For many years he umpired Little League Majors baseball games in Sturgis. He loved to run the two lane roads while traveling and took Mary down some interesting roads. Jim was always willing to give of his time to help others and had volunteered at Thurston Woods Village and was a driver for the American Cancer Society in the Valley. He attended the Locust Grove Mennonite Church in Burr Oak. His care and compassion for all his family and friends will be greatly missed but he loved the Lord and has gone home in victory. He would want us to celebrate his life. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Mary; one daughter, Linda (Doug) Large of Sturgis; five sons, Doug (Sue) Yoder of Austin, Texas, Bob (Marilee) Yoder of Sturgis, Steve (his friend Sheryl Putnam) Yoder of Sturgis, Stan (Vicki) Yoder of White Pigeon, Tim (his fiancée Vicky Singleton) Yoder of Sturgis; one step-son, Jeff Moline of Garita, New Mexico; two step-daughters, Michelle (Scott) Carr of Sturgis and Alecia Frutig of LaGrange, Ind., 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ellen Schragg of Kalamazoo and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death parents; wife; two sisters, Lena Reed and Barb Weber; and one brother, Ernest Yoder. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1:15 p.m.  Saturday April 24, 2010, at First United Methodist Church in Sturgis, where a memorial service celebrating the life of James Yoder will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. James Loren Harmon, age 60, of Tecumseh died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of Lenawee. He was born July 11, 1949, in Miami, Fla., the son of Ray and Donna (Powers) Harmon. He was united in marriage on June 14, 1980, to Stephanie Gannon in Villano Beach, Fla., and she survives. Loren was a United States Navy veteran and retired Navy pilot, serving for 20 years. Loren began his naval career as an aircraft mechanic and was allowed through an education program to receive his BS in Oceanography from the University of Washington, Seattle, Wash. This degree enabled him to become a Naval Officer and Pilot; he retired from the Navy in 1988. He was then employed as a pilot by Continental Airlines/ Continental Micronesia from 1991-1996 and Northwest Airlines from 1996-2010. After his naval retirement he continued his enthusiasm for flight through teaching; he became a Certified Flight Instructor and began his affiliation with the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). He helped found, and served as past President of the EAA, Chapter 1190, Adrian, Mich.  When he wasn’t flying commercially he was either teaching or building an airplane, or helping someone in their endeavors. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #9937, Tecumseh.  In addition to his wife, Loren is survived by his mother, Donna (Toddy) Chadwell of Shelbyville, Tenn.; four children, Tiffany Harmon of St. Augustine, Fla., Angela Harmon of Denver, Colo., William (Jennifer) Harmon of St. Elgin, Ill., and Ray Harmon II of Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren, Steven and Julie Harmon, Devyn McElroy and Lila Harmon; five siblings, Donna Skidmore, Jeanette (Charlie) Pelland and Tommy (Kathy) Harmon, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; Chuck Harmon of Melbourne, Fla., and Tracy (Ron) Rogers of Bellbuckle, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, April 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, where a Vigil Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. A Memorial Mass celebrating his life will be held at the church Friday, April 23, at  2 p.m., with the Rev. Fr. Dan Wheeler as Celebrant. Full military honors will be conducted immediately following the mass under the auspices of the American Legion Post #34 and VFW Post #4187 of Tecumseh. James “Jim” Martin Orlowsky, 68, of Carlisle, Pa., died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at his home after losing his yearlong battle with mesothelioma. He participated in clinical trials at the National Institute of Health, Bethesda, Md., to contribute to the medical research in pursuit of a cure for this rare asbestos-related cancer.   Born April 2, 1942, in Detroit, Mich., he was a son of Estelle Pawlowski of Sterling Heights, Mich., and the late James Emerick Orlowsky. He grew up and lived in Utica, Mich. James began his college education at the University of Michigan, where he played football, and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University in 1965. He attended the Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers.   Jim was a civil servant as a Review Examiner with the FDIC for 40 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran who was awarded the Bronze Star and Combat Infantryman’s Badge for his service during Vietnam. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carlisle, Pa.  He was an avid golfer and consummate football, baseball and hockey fan. Above all, Jim was a loving companion and devoted father who will be terribly missed.   Survivors include his companion of 24 years and soul mate, Emily McAuliffe of Carlisle, Pa.; two daughters, Jaime Orlowsky Lee of Leesburg, Va., and Shaine Orlowsky Capone of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Carole Sales of Shelby Township, Mich., and Nancy Byers of Almont, Mich.; two brothers, Thomas Orlowsky of Troy, Mich., and David Orlowsky of Warren, Mich. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 26, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Adrian, Mich., with Father David Hudgins as celebrant. Joan M. Smith, 87, of Sturgis, Mich., passed away Wednesday morning, March 17, 2010, at Thurston Woods Village of Sturgis. She was born Aug. 10, 1922, in Sturgis, Mich., a daughter to the late Fred and Cora (Burmeister) Hubner. Joan was a life long resident of Sturgis and a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1940. On June 22, 1979, she married Donald Smith at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sturgis. She retired from the city following over 20 years as secretary to the city manager. Joan was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sturgis where for several years she and Don served on the money counting committee and at one time she served as the church secretary. She enjoyed playing the piano, gardening both vegetables and flowers and crocheting. Joan was truly dedicated to her husband and family and was happiest when she was surrounded by each one of them. She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Don; one daughter, Kristen Whitesell of Sturgis; two sons, Karl (Mary) Littman of Sturgis and Ronald (Darlene) Littman of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren, Kristy Borji, Erika Littman, Megan Zagon and Miranda Whitesell; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sylvia Helzel of Franklin, NC, and Shirley Young of Plantation, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. Leta J. Johnson, 80, of Union City, passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 at her home. She was born Oct. 28, 1929 in Athens Township to Albert and Mary I. (Hiner) Eyre. She married Ralph Johnson Feb. 4, 1948. Leta worked at Star Mobile Home factory in Union City and retired from Acorn Glass & Window of Quincy. She graduated from Union City High School in 1947. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Union City. She enjoyed and loved her many cats. Leta is survived by a sister, Shirley Stevens of Union City and many nieces and nephews. Marie Patterson, 84, of Howe, Ind., died Monday, April 19, 2010, at her home. She was born Dec. 15, 1925, in Knott County, Ky., a daughter of James and Celia (Terry) Patrick. On Oct. 23, 1943, she married Daniel G. Patterson in Bulan, Ky. He preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1992. Marie had been a homemaker all her life. Surviving are a daughter, Durma L. Merdie Beverly, 72 of Burr Oak, passed away Thursday evening, April 15, 2010, at his home, surrounded by his family.   He was born Oct. 16, 1937, in Rock House Holler on Quick Sand Creek in Elmrock, Ky., a son of the late Marion and Tilda Bell (Collins) Beverly.   Merdie settled in Burr Oak in 1969. His early life was spent in Kentucky. On June 24, 1957, he married Sarah Howard in LaGrange, Ind. She died Feb. 23, 1985. On April 1, 1988, he married Audrey Belcher in Teaberry, Kentucky. Following more than 30 years of dedicated employment with Morgan Olson in Sturgis, he retired in 2000. He was a member of Mount Calvary United Baptist Church in Stroh, Ind., and enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing and mowing his grass. He had a real love and talent for music and he was a member of the Chapel Hill Bluegrass Band. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Audrey; a son, Kenneth (Karen) Beverly of Burr Oak; two daughters, Carolyn (Jessie) Smith of Knott County, Ky., and Linda Beverly of Burr Oak; seven grandchildren, Christina Hicks, Kenneth Phillip Beverly, Kasandra Keeslar, Sarah Jane Waite, Elisha Smith, Armondo Beverly and Greg Beverly; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Ivory Gault of Kendallville, Ind.; and many nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in his church. Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife; eight brothers; and a sister. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today and 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes Rosenberg Chapel, 807 E. Chicago Road, Sturgis, where funeral services celebrating the life of Merdie Beverly will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. The Revs. Willie Collins, Ollie Smith and Ron Bell will officiate. Merritt E. Parr, 86, of Indian River and formerly of Sturgis, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Bortz Health Care Center in Petoskey. Merritt was born July 14, 1923, in Steuben County, Ind., a son of Shirley and Sylvia (Cannon) Parr, and grew up at Pleasant Lake, Ind., where he attended school. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific Theater during World War II. On Nov. 1, 1947, he married the former Wanda Young in Huntington, Ind. The couple made their home in Sturgis, where they raised their family. Merritt retired in 1983 as an offset pressman for Rockford Paper Mills in Sturgis. In 1988, Merritt and Wanda moved to Indian River. They have been residents of Independence Village in Petoskey since last October. Merritt enjoyed fishing, camping and playing cards. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Merritt is survived by his wife, Wanda; sons John (Denise) Parr of Clinton Township and Steve (Katy) Parr of Garden Valley, Calif.; grandchildren Sam and Sarah Parr; and a brother, Gerald Parr of Hobart, Ind. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Thursday at Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River. She bowled with the “Bradford Pinknockers” and “Gale’s Barber Shop” teams. He was born May 24, 1949, in Jackson, the son of Millard and Betty (Simonds) DeForest. He is survived by his wife of 34 ½ years, Pam; his mother-in-law, Joyce Shaw of Hillsdale; two children, Shawn (Christine) DeForest of Lincoln Park and Heather (Kevin) Galioto of Stow, Ohio; six grandchildren, Michael, Roger-Jesse, Alexis, Taylor, Emily and Blake; five siblings, Gary (Kim) DeForest of Concord, Donna (Larry) Reiniche of Pulaski, Ken (Penny) DeForest of Jonesville, Pat (Jody) DeForest of Pulaski and Patty (Bill) Felkey of Pulaski and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law, John Shaw; one sister, Connie DeForest and one grandson, Christian Galioto. Mr. DeForest was a decorated veteran who served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and he retired from the Army Reserves as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service. He worked for 24 years at Foulke Construction and retired in January 2008. He served as President of Lifeline Food Pantry in Camden and was a member of the Reading Church of the Nazarene, the 199th Charlie Company Infantry and the Vietnam Veterans Association. Mr. DeForest was an avid sports fan at all levels who enjoyed any sport including a ball or a puck. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and he was a friend to all. He will be missed by all who knew him. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Roger Earl DeForest will be held at the Hampton-Kurtz Funeral Home in Hillsdale at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 22 with Pastor David Tran officiating. William F. ‘Butch’  Marnell Aug. 2, 1948 — April 9, 2010 William F. “Butch” Marnell, 61, of Commerce City, Colorado, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2010, at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born Aug. 2, 1948, in Detroit, to Francis L. Marnell and Shirley J. (Kittle) Marnell. He married Christine Davis in Westminster, Colorado, and she survives. Butch lived in the North Adams and Addison area for several years before moving to Colorado 34 years ago. He graduated from North Adams High School in 1966. He worked for Kelsey Hayes in Jackson, then he worked for the Detroit News and then the Rocky Mountain News for 28 years, where he was a Foreman and Union President. Butch enjoyed playing the piano and guitar. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan where he always watched their games in his garage. He also enjoyed motorcycles and fishing. Surviving, besides his wife Christine, are two daughters, Michelle (Scott) Schultz of Jonesville, Carrie Marcum of Commerce City, Colo.; one son, William F. (Melissa) Marnell Jr. of Osseo; two stepchildren, Kelly Davis of Phoenix, Ariz., Denise Mauney of Oregon; his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Royce Russell of Onsted; two sisters, Bonnie Potts of Addison, Shelly (John) Stanton of Coldwater; one brother, Dennis (Diana) Marnell of Manitou Beach; 12 grandchildren; several nephews, nieces and cousins. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and keeping her kids out of trouble. She also enjoyed the several winters she had spent in Florida and being with her friends and family. She is survived by her four daughters, Geraldine (Gerald) Eaton and Joan (Gary) Roberts, both of Tecumseh; Barbara Bond (Fred Long) of National City, Mich., and Lois Quinn of Crane Hill, Ala.;  17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Max. Richard “Dick” Warner, 62, of Deerfield passed away suddenly on April 10, 2010, in Henderson, Nev. He was born Feb. 1, 1948, in Adrian, Mich., the son of Sterling Warner and Mary (Sauter) Warner Dusseau. On Feb. 4, 1967, Dick married Linda Kastel. She survives. Dick worked at Ford Motor Company in Saline. He retired in 1997. After retirement, Dick and Linda enjoyed traveling and spending time at his Au Gres, Mich., cabin with his grandchildren, fishing and hunting, golfing and riding his Harley. Dick’s absolute favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. Surviving is his wife, Linda of Deerfield; three sons, Buddy (Tammy) Warner of Deerfield, Jason (Andrea) Warner of Ida and Matthew (Alison) Warner of Henderson, Nev.; seven grandchildren, Joshua Warner, Nicole Fountain, Jacob Warner, Olivia Warner, Katelyn Warner, Caleb Warner and Judson Warner; one brother, Harold (Christine) Warner of Britton; three sisters, Regina Martin of Morenci, Denise (Adrian) Flores of Okemos, Donna (Marty) Gallagher of Sylvania; and many nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters. Following Dick’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral services for Dick will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2010, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Deerfield, with Fr. Jack Loughran officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Tagsold Funeral Home in Blissfield, and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. A rosary service will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m at the Tagsold Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Deerfield Fire Dept. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church. |

Stanley (Stanislaw) Dobek, 83, of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away suddenly April 16, 2010. He was born in Odry, Poland, on April 27, 1926, to Jan and Weronika Dobek, who preceded him in death, along with his brothers, Tadeusz Dobek of Szczecin, Poland, and Franciszek Dobek of Czersk, Poland. Stan is survived by his wife, Patricia (Simpson) Dobek, whom he married on March 23, 1949, and his son, Jeffrey Dobek of Bydgoszcz, Poland. He is also survived by two sisters, Bronislawa Koperska and Irena Jarzebek of Odry, Poland. Stan served in the Polish Army during World War II, and after the war lived in Bedford, England. Stan and Pat immigrated to the USA in 1955, settling in Tecumseh and becoming a U.S. citizen in 1965. He worked at Bruce Foundry, and was later one of the first employees at the GM Fisher Body Tecumseh Plant, retiring from GM in 1988. He spent his retirement years tending his garden and orchard, of which he was very proud, and traveling together with Pat, returning to Poland and to England on visits. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date at the Anderson Funeral Home in Tecumseh. William F. “Butch” Marnell, age 61, of Commerce City, Colo., passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2010, at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born on Aug. 2, 1948, in Detroit, Mich., to Francis L. Marnell and Shirley J. (Kittle) Marnell. He married Christine Davis in Westminster, Colo., and she survives. Butch lived in the North Adams and Addison area for several years, before moving to Colorado 34 years ago. He graduated from North Adams High School in 1966. He worked for Kelsey Hayes in Jackson, then for the Detroit News, and then the Rocky Mountain News for 28 years, where he was a Foreman and Union President. Butch enjoyed playing the piano and guitar.  He was an avid Denver Broncos fan and always watched their games in his garage. He also enjoyed motorcycles and fishing. Surviving, besides his wife, Christine, are two daughters, Michelle Schultz and Scott of Jonesville, Carrie Marcum of Commerce City, Colo.; one son, William F. (Melissa) Marnell, Jr. of Osseo; two stepchildren, Kelly Davis of Phoenix, Ariz., Denise Mauney of Oregon; his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Royce Russell of Onsted; two sisters, Bonnie Potts of Addison, Shelly (John) Stanton of Coldwater; one brother, Dennis (Diana) Marnell of Manitou Beach; 12 grandchildren, and several nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Marnell, and his grandparents. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison, with the Rev. Lloyd Jewett officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010, from 12 noon until the time of the service. Cremation has taken place at his request. William G. DuCharme William G. DuCharme, age 87, a resident of Roseville for 60 years, passed away in his home on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. He was born February 4, 1923, in Detroit. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War ll and Korea. He retired from Detroit Edison in 1985 after working 39 years as an electrician. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and loved to play golf and watch the Detroit Tigers in his spare time. Mr. DuCharme is survived by his wife of 62 years, Albertine "Al" (nee Bargeron); children, Barbara (Earnie) Cummins, Diane Pellerito, Michael (Becky), and Pamela (Harold) Walsh; grandchildren, Tom, Chris (Nicole), Chad (Tina), Ginnine, Lauren, Nikki, Steven, Maryrose, and Jay; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Jaden, Jessica, Chad Jr., Timothy, Tyler, and Anthony; and brother, Gordon (Delores).
