Community Health Center of Branch County after a 12 1⁄2 year struggle
with cancer. Agnes was born Jan. 21, 1950 in Bronson, daughter of
George and Clementine (Wotta) Losinski. She graduated from Ladywood
High School in Livonia in 1968. After moving to Coldwater, Agnes worked
several years at Lamb Knit in Colon, and after the company closed, she
was hired at McDonald’s in Coldwater, where she worked for over 20

Ida Prichard, 92, of  Centreville, Mich., passed away Wednesday, Sept.
17, 2008, at her home. She was born in Lima, Ohio on Nov. 7, 1915, a
daughter of Jacob E. and Ida Belle (Chiles) Fetter. She graduated from
Lafayette High School in 1933. On April 20, 1935, Alice married Fred S.
Prichard in Geyer, Ohio.  He preceded her in death on March 2, 1976.
Alice was a homemaker and worked on the family farm and enjoyed

Marlette, passed away Monday (September 1, 2008) from melanoma at the
Hospice Residence in Marlette. He was born March 20. 1934, in Marlette,
the son of the late Walter and Laura (Macklen) Davies. He married
Shirley Sirdan on June 3, 1961 in Kingston. Everett graduated from
Marlette High School in 1952. He served his country in the U.S. Army
from 1955 to 1957. Mr. Davies worked for 30 years at Buick City in
Flint and 19 years at Ken Miller Farm s in Marlette. Everett was a
long-time member of the Hope Lutheran Church and also a member of the
U.A.W. Local 599. He was a jack of all trades, a great husband, father
and grandfather. He loved to go to toy tractor shows and also collect
toy tractors, toy classic pickups and cars. He is survived by his wife,
Shirley of Marlette; son, David (Shellie) Davies of Brown City;
daughter, Linda (Skeeter) Ford of Clifford; grandchildren, Michael and

"Scottie" Hailer 1928 - 2008 Velma "Scottie" Hailer, 80, Sand Point,
passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at home while under hospice
care. She was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on February 9, 1928, she
was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (McIntyre) Hay. On May
4, 1956 she was united in marriage to Frederick C. Hailer, Sr. in
Detroit. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2001. Scottie worked in
Detroit for many years as a secretary for Wayne County Government. She
and Fred visited Huron County since 1966, and moved permanently to the
Thumb in 1977. Scottie's door was always open and she was excited to
see people whenever they visited. She always had a good and cheerful
greeting with a smile. She was a former member of Scenic Golf &
Country Club. She is survived by her sister, Mary (Richard) Bogdanski,
Simpsonville, S.C.; nephew, Jeff (Suzanne) Bogdanski; niece, Deborah
