Deputy killed in the line of duty Deputy Sarah Haylett Jones, 27, a 1999 Bronson High School graduate, died Sunday from injuries sustained in the line of duty. Jones, a Monroe County, Ind. sheriff’s deputy was directing traffic at the scene of an accident on SR 45, just west of Bloomington, at 10:30 p.m. Friday.
