She was born on May 2, 1934 in Croswell, daughter of the late Irvin and Audrey (McNames) Stone. She and Oscar J. McComb were married on May 5, 1951 in Croswell. He died on March 13, 1997. Mrs. McComb was the retired owner and operator of McComb's Superette, Croswell. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, the Moose Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary. She had been a winter resident of Zephyrhills, Florida for many years. Surviving are her son William (Patti) of Croswell and her daughter Brenda Hill, of Plant City, FL. He was born March 16, 1920 to William Fredric and Mae Thorman. He was married to Adelaide E. LePard on August 28, 1944 in Almont. They have enjoyed over 64 years of marriage. He graduated from Dryden High School. Bill's Dairy farm is a Michigan Centennial Farm; having been in the Thorman family since 1875. His Registered Holstein Cattle herd was well known around the area. He served 16 years as the President of the Dryden School Board. He served over 30 years as the Secretary of Lapeer Co-Op. He was a member of Dryden United Methodist Church; he held the longest / oldest membership at the church. He joined the church at the age of 14 and served on many church committees.
