Ryan H. Daenzer, 40, of Clarkston, Mich., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, in Wheeling, Ill., the result of a tragic plane crash. Ryan was our only son, and when his mother and I were told he was killed in a tragic plane crash in Wheeling, Ill., our hearts were ripped from inside of us — we are still bleeding. He was well-liked by his fellow pilots. They concurred that he was an excellent pilot. To have life taken away from you so suddenly leaves a hurt that will stay with you forever. May God grant His grace and peace to all his friends and family — to remember each day to do good, for each day is a gift from God. Funeral swervices will be held 1 p.m. today at St. Philip Lutheran Church in Owosso, with Rev. Brian F. Heidt officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Ryan was born on March 18, 1969, in Lansing, the son of James L. and Phyllis (Kroll) Daenzer. He graduated from Owosso High School and then from Jackson Community College. He belonged to the Experimental Aircraft Association. Survivors include his parents, James and Phyllis; and two sisters, Carmen Marie Herald of Owosso and Andrea (Dr. Jeff) Kidd of Ovieda, Fla. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Free Healthcare Clinic at the Redeemer Lutheran Church. On-line condolences may be sent to the family at www.nelson-house.com. |
