Brian Alan Barrons, age 50, of Three Rivers, Mich., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening Feb. 3, 2009, at his home. He was born Feb. 16, 1958, in Elgin, Ill., a son of Lee and Winifred (Plant) Cochran. He had resided in Three Rivers for the past 1 1/2 years. Prior to moving to Three Rivers he had lived in Sturgis. Brian had been employed by Pioneer Hybrid in Constantine for the past 12 years. He was also a truck driver. Brian was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Army earning the rank of Private First Class. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding his Yamaha 650 Venture and was also a member of several motorcycle clubs. He is survived by his wife, Vicky; two daughters, Brenda Barrons and Ayla Barrons both of Sturgis; a son, Brian Alan Barrons II of Sturgis; his mother, Winifred Cochran of Kalamazoo; four brothers, Robert (Betty) Barrons of Kalamazoo, Larry (Deb) Barrons of Kalamazoo, Kevin (Stepphanie) Barrons of Illinois and William (Judy) Barrons of Arizona; four sisters, Maryann (Tom) Keene of Kalamazoo, Rose (Val) Winnyk of New Jersey, Jennifer Barrons of Washington, D.C., and Susan Barrons of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. was born and raised in Mississippi, the sixth of eight children. He was converted, August 27, 1929. He married Jennie Maebelle Griffin, December 12, 1937, to this union a son was born. Pastor Davis became a Deacon in 1945 at the Beautiful Zion Baptist Church. In 1950, he moved his family to Detroit, Michigan and later a daughter was born. Upon his arrival I Detroit, he united with the New Bethel Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. C. L. Franklin. In 1960, he moved his membership to the Holy Cross Baptist Church, under the covering of the late Rev. Eddie Shack. There he served on the Deacon Board until he accepted his calling to the ministry, on the first Sunday in May of 1964. On the fourth Sunday in October 1965, Pastor Davis was called to Pastor the Welcome Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Davis attended the Michigan School of Religion from 1967-1970, where he earned his Doctor of Divinity Degree. He began a radio outreach ministry in February of 1988 where the services were heard over the airwaves of WGPR 107.5 FM each Sunday evening at 6:30p.m. Pastor Davis formally served as the First Vice-President of the Congress on Christian Education of Fellowship District and served faithfully with Sunday School Congress. When Pastor Davis was called to pastor the Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, the congregation had only five(5) members. We marched in the to 3730 Phillip on November 4, 2007. Pastor Davis served as a pillar of the community. Pastor Davis went from labor to reward on Feb. 5, 2009. Celebration of Life and Homegoing will follow, lie in state Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, 4-9p.m. at Welcome Baptist Church and Thursday until. The address is 3730 Phillip, Detroit, MI. Doris J. Meyer, age 91, of Bronson, passed peacefully into the Lord’s Care on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 at her home following several years of ill health. She was born June 24, 1917 in Leonidas, daughter of Loyd and Elda (Hagelgans) Outman and graduated from Colon High School in 1936. She briefly attended the Nichols Hospital Nursing Program in Battle Creek and spent her early adult years helping with the care of her younger siblings in a family of nine children in Leonidas. She moved to Bronson to serve as a housekeeper and lady’s companion to Mrs. Clint Powley. There, she met Ralph D. Meyer, whom she married on Nov. 21, 1941. Together they built their home and raised their two children in Bronson. Ralph died in 1994. Doris was a loving and dedicated home maker and mother, active in the Girl and Boy Scouts in earlier years and later working at the former Douglas Manufacturing Company (now Douglas Autotech) alongside her dear friend and long time neighbor Elberta Kolassa. Doris was a caregiver at heart and served as an active volunteer for 15 years as a member of the Branch County Community Health Center Auxiliary, contributing over 3,000 hours of service. She enjoyed traveling, photography, handcrafting, walking, biking and bird watching. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. For many years, she had attended the Pleasant Hill Missionary Church.                   Surviving are her daughter Linda Lance of Bronson; two granddaughters and their husbands, Michelle Meyer Essenberg and her husband Doug of Middleville and Melinda Pairitz and her husband Eric of Elkhart, Ind.; five great grandchildren, MacKenzie Pairitz, Megan Pairitz, Ryan Pairitz, Ellie Essenberg and Cecelia Essenberg; three brothers, Wayne (Carol) Outman of Mendon, Lyle Outman and Stanley (Betty) Outman, all of Leonidas; her daughter-in-law, Jessie Meyer of South Bend, Ind.; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Randall (Libbie) Meyer of Bronson, Ruth Meyer of Bronson, Rhea Meyer Savchuk of Ligonier, Ind. and Robert (Beth) Meyer of Cleveland, Ohio and her cherished friend, Vera Hurd of Bronson along with many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, her loving husband of 53 years, Ralph Meyer in 1994, her son Lynn Meyer in 2007 and brothers Harold Outman, Leon Outman and LeRoy Outman. Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at the Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson with Rev. Don Matteson officiating. Interment will follow in Matteson Twp. Cemetery. She attended Litchfield Schools, University of Grand Rapids and University of Michigan. Helen worked as a pharmacist and was a member of the Litchfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing. DUNCAN, JAMES E. - Age 72, of Adrian, formerly of Somerset, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law at Silver Lake in Woodstock Township. He was born on June 12, 1936 in Charleston, Tennessee to Wilbur Leslie "Amos" and Verna Ann (Dudley) Duncan. He married Darleen C. Yanakeff in 1980 in Addison, and she preceded him in death on November 11, 2004. Jim lived in Adrian for most of his life. He raised his children at Posey Lake; then shared a home with his wife Darleen in Somerset for many years. After the loss of his wife, he moved back to the Adrian area. He attended Adrian High School. He volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, he enjoyed bingo, blackjack, traveling and carpentry. Jim loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandkids. Jim is survived by his dear friend, Connie Willnow; one daughter, Pamela and Steve Ames of Cement City; two sons, Keith and Beth (Gutierrez) Duncan of Adrian, Kevin and Cindy (Cox) Duncan of White Lake, MI; grandchildren, Matthew Duncan, Daniel Duncan, Kelly and Derek McKelvey, Marcie Ames, Heather and Tommy Clark, Anthony Duncan; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Cullen Clark; three sisters, Ethel Walworth of Clayton, Roberta Cates of Tracy, CA. Janet E. Trennepohl, age 62, of Sturgis, Mich., loving mother of five children, passed away Monday evening, Feb. 2, 2009, at Three Rivers Health in Three Rivers. She was born July 30, 1946, in Sturgis, a daughter of the late Paul and Evelyn (Middaugh) Groff. Janet was a lifelong Sturgis resident, a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed gardening and camping, but what made her the happiest and what she was most proud of was the love she had for her children. Her love was never-ending. She is survived by a daughter, Amy Trennepohl; four sons, Brad Groff, Chuck Trennepohl, Jason Trennepohl and Scott Trennepohl; five grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon (James) Stutts of Arizona and Diana Rivera of Sturgis; two brothers, Ron (Debbie) Groff of Howe, Ind., and Michael (Rhonda) Groff of Sturgis; and several nieces and nephews. Joyce Elaine Howell died at the Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, Ala. Jan. 28, 2009. She was born Joyce Roberts in Charlotte, Mich., on Jan. 3, 1935. Mrs. Howell was a registered nurse in Michigan and a housewife, raising her three sons. Her husband, Marvin E. Howell, preceded her in death. Survivors include her brother, Neil Roberts of Biloxi, Miss.; a sister, Jeanette Gordon of Bellflower, Calif.; three sons, Timothy R. Howell of Bay City, Mich., John M. Howell of Kennesaw, Ga., and James E. Howell of Crane, Mo.; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Howell’s body, per her request, was donated to science and was given to the University of Alabama. Lynne Jane Dawson, 59, of Adrian passed away Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at the Arbor Hospice, Ann Arbor.  Lynne was born July 22, 1949, in Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., the middle child of Christian and Virginia (Ralph) Reinhardt. On June 8, 1996, Lynne married Dr. Michael Dawson of Adrian in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.  She was a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Prior to her marriage she was a real estate agent in the Detroit area. Lynne was a member of P.E.O, the Adrian Garden Club and Alpha Omega Club where she served as treasurer. First in Lynne’s life was family. She also loved crafts, her home, and her St. Bernards, Sasha and Barkley.  She did everything with class and touched everyone with her gentle spirit. She is survived by her loving husband, Mike; two wonderful sons, from a previous marriage, Jonathan (Jaclyn) Nicols of Ann Arbor and Jay Nicols of Royal Oak; her mother, Virginia Reinhardt; an older brother, Chris (Robolyn) Reinhardt, and a younger sister, Amy (Scott) Cameron. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, and many dear and loving friends, including Pam Threet and Cindi Gray who accompanied Lynne to many appointments. Madelyn (Fisher) Burch, age 63, formerly of Adrian, passed away Jan. 27, 2009, in Dolan Springs, Ariz. She was born April 13, 1945, in North Shields, England, to Harry and Winifred (Donkin) Fisher. She married Jerry Burch in 1981, and they divorced in 2003. Madelyn came to the United States around 1947, and lived most of her life in the Adrian area. In December 2003, she moved to Dolan Springs, Ariz., to be near her sons. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Dolan Springs, Ariz. Mary Martin, age 93, formerly of Adrian, passed away February 6, 2009, at Laurels Nursing Home.  Mary was born July 14, 1915, to Bert and Blanche (Eastman) Pearson in Detroit, Mich.  On August 31, 1940, she married the love of her life, Rex B. Martin, in Fulton, N.Y. He preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1998.                       She was a graduate of Albion College, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Home Economics.  She worked as an assistant dietitian for the U of M dorms. Mary attended the First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the ladies sewing group, Esther and Ruth Circles, Good New Bible study, the Monday Literary Club, and UMW; she was also a member of the PEO sorority. Mary was involved in doing volunteer work with Bixby Hospital, AAUW, Goodwill Arc, and FISH. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and aunt and friend. Her family was the center of her world. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Mary is survived by her children, William (Kary Scheiern) Martin of Rockford, Mich., Mary Pat (Richard) Martin-Louderman of Evanston, Ill., Judith Mitchell of Ft. Collins, Colo., and  David (Ellen) Martin of Rock Island, Ill..; six grandsons, Slater (Sarah) Martin, Schuyler, Justin and Joshua Martin, Collin and Sean (Stacy) Mitchell; and five great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Alexander, Elijah Martin and Marshal and Molly Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Honorable Rex B. Martin, her parents and her sister, Ruth, and her daughter-in-law, Karen.   According to Mary’s request, cremation has taken place. Ora E. Carlisle, 89, of Jonesville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 at Drews Place in Hillsdale. He was born March 29, 1919 in Hillsdale to Lewis and Mary (Fenstermaker) Carlisle. He was married Jan. 4, 1940 to Merle Galloway and she preceded him in death in 2006. Ora was a retired diesel mechanic for the Board of Public Utilities. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, having fought at the Battle of the Bulge and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He was a member of the American Legion in Hillsdale and was an avid pheasant hunter. He is survived by a son, Clyde (Mary) Carlisle of Quincy; three brothers, Darrell (June) Carlisle and George (Sue) Carlisle both of Hillsdale, and Glen (Sharon) Carlisle of Jonesville; five grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Besides his wives Merle and Lowell, Ora was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Ora Lee Carlisle and Gloria Jean Blaker; two sisters, Dora Brown and Judy Mann; two brothers, Robert and Clyde Carlisle; and two grandsons, Ora and Harley Carlisle. A memorial service for Ora E. Carlisle will be held Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Rev. Nelson Brandymore officiating. Phillip A. Harrington, 88, of Fleischmanns, NY died February 5, 2009.  He was born in Holland, Michigan on April 29, 1920, a son of the late, former Holland Mayor, Harry Harrington and Clara Phillips Harrington. A longtime Brooklyn resident, Mr. Harrington’s 40-year career in photojournalism began during the 1940’s, when he worked a the Miami Herald, Chicago Tribune, director of photography at the Wisconsin State Journal, acting director of photography at the Minneapolis Tribune. From 1949 - 1971 he was a Staff Photographer at LOOK Magazine, NYC.  In 1956-57 he was the first American journalist to enter Red China, and for this coverage received both the James Polk and the Overseas Press Club Awards. He moved to Fleischmanns in 1984. Surviving are two sons Christopher M. Harrington and his wife Melinda of Wallingford, CT and Evan Ross Harrington and his fiancé Deborah Ackles of Chicago, IL, and his former wife, Joyce M. Harrington of New York City. The funeral is February 9th in Kingston, NY. Phillip L. Fredenburg age 70, of Colon, passed away, Feb. 4, 2009, at his home after several months of failing health. Phil was born Aug. 14, 1938, in Colon, a son to the late Guy and Mabel (Slagle) Fredenburg. He had lived all of his life in the Colon area, except for the years he spent in the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Phil married Nancy Nichols which ended in divorce. On Dec. 31, 1993, he married Donna (Buys) Capman in Colon. He had worked as a foreman for Colmer Division of Maxitrol Company in Colon for 45 years, retiring in 2006. Phil enjoyed hunting, fishing and crafts. He is survived by his wife, Donna, of Colon; two daughters, Audrey (Steve) Wolford of Colon and Stephanie (Tim) Baker of Mendon; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, George (Sharon) Emmel of Colon; two sisters, Joyce Broker of Colon and Barbara Gronda of Carlton, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews, with a special nephew Joseph (Debra) Gronda. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Tom Fredenburg and Robert Fredenburg,  John Emmel and Charles Hoyt. The family will receive relatives and friends from 3-8 p.m. Friday at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. in Colon. Funeral services celebrating the life of Phillip L. Age 88. Died on January 27, 2009 in Vero Beach, FL surrounded by his family. He was born in Rittman, OH on March 16, 1920 and lived most of his life in the Detroit and Novi, MI area, spending the winter months in Green Valley, AZ for many years. Alex graduated from Pershing High School and enjoyed playing sports throughout his lifetime including golf, semi-professional baseball, and senior softball. Alex was nicknamed the "Babe" due to his great love of baseball, which was second only to his love of family. He spent sixty years married to his sweetheart, Kay, and they had four children. After her passing, he married Sybil Dermody and they happily spent his last years being Vero Beach snowbirds. Big Al, as he was known, was an easy going, kind, and very generous man. He was actively involved in church fundraising, coaching little league & basketball, and establishing various youth sports programs. He spoke Russian fluently and proudly served in WWII as an interpreter in Military Intelligence stationed in Tehran, Iran. Alex was fortunate to live a full and complete life, but he leaves behind many who love him dearly. Survivors include his wife, Sybil Rachunok; son, Alex Rachunok, Jr. (Sue); daughters, Donna Rachunok, Cathy Hirschauer (Jack), and Marg "Peggy" Hanlin (Gary); sister, Nina Trimberger; and three beloved grandchildren, Kelly Gilman, Ben Rachunok, and Charlie Rachunok. Richard P. Ostrander, age 96, formerly of Adrian, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009 at his daughter’s home where he had resided for the past year. Richard was born on Sept. 9, 1912, in Adrian, Mich., to Loyd and Edith (Beaubien) Ostrander. He served his country in the Air Force during World War II. On Aug. 16, 1946, he married Martha Jackson in Wauseon, Ohio. Martha, his wife for 60 years, preceded him in death in 2006. Richard worked for American Chain and Cable for 34 years before retiring in 1975. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, camping and was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed yard work and making woodworking projects for his family and friends. Richard was a past member of the Elks, Eagles and had attended the Fairfield Baptist Church as well as Bethany Assembly of God. Surviving Richard are his daughter, Carol Pfeiffer of Charlotte, N.C., and his son, Warren Ostrander of Sand Creek; his granddaughters, Stephanie (Steve) Matthews of DuBois, Pa., Kristin Sager of Houston, Texas, Kim Ostrander of Adrian, Wendy Ostrander of Hammond, Ind., and Matthew Ostrander of Jasper; great-grandchildren, Alexander Matthews, Kyle and Kody Nicholson, and Christina Ostrander; siblings, Kenneth (Lillian) Ostrander and Robert (Elaine) Ostrander, Joan Gaydosh, all of Adrian; Dorothy Wagner of  Palmyra and Velma Gonzales of Elk Grove, Ill.  In addition to his wife, Martha, he was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers. Richard was born January 13, 1949 in Elberta, MI, the son of Fay and Jeannette (McConnell) Sheldon and had lived in the Kalamazoo area for the past 53 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. While serving in the Army in Germany, he met his future wife Karen Jo Zieba to whom he was married on September 25, 1978. Richard was employed for several years as a mechanic at Krum-Hallam Chevrolet in Vicksburg. He enjoyed cars, fishing and bowling and could fix anything. Richard was preceded in death by his father Fay Sheldon. Scott D. Hendershot, age 44, of Philadelphia, Pa., died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009. He was born on Dec. 7, 1964, in Royal Oak, Mich., the son of Charles and Sharon (Gove) Hendershot. He married Rebecca Scone on Jan. 21, 1998. Scott taught computer operations to other blind people for many years, traveling all over the United States. He enjoyed reading and listening to music, especially rock ’n’ roll. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew, loved and respected him and his work. He had a special gift and was more than willing to share that with others. In addition to his wife, Rebecca, Scott is survived by his son, Sean of Primos, Pa.; his stepdaughter, Christina Lee of Clifton, Pa.; his brother, Michael Hendershot of Philadelphia, Pa.; his sister, Lynette Hendershot of Primos, Pa.; his grandmother, Hattie Witt of Tecumseh; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandfathers, and grandmother Helen Hendershot. At Scott’s request, cremation has taken place. Burial of the cremated remains will be in Ridgeway Cemetery, Britton, in the spring. NEWHOUSE, Shirley Mae Of Portage Passed away February 5, 2009 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born October 21, 1931 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Harry and Margaret (Elzinga) Rogalske. She was united in marriage to Ronald Dale Newhouse, who preceded her in death. She was a longtime member of Greenwood Reformed Church in Milwood. As wife and mother, Shirley's family was her center. Good friends were her support. Her many years at Upjohn brought her joy, satisfaction and colleagues she loved. Shirley loved her church and her Lord, serving both in the choir, as deacon and as elder of Greenwood Church. She expressed her creativity through painting and quilting. She designed her own Christmas cards and loved sending them to family and friends. Surviving Shirley are her children, Kathy Cooper of Mt. Juliet, TN, Karen Straka of Chicago, IL and Russell (Laura) Newhouse of Carmel, IN; grandchildren, Jacob Michael Straka, David and Greg Cooper; special friends, James M. (Aletha) Boven, Paul (Beulah) Shadley, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Annen and Linda (Ralph) Tanner, several loving nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were, brothers, Harry Rogell and John Rogalske. He was born on October 22, 1937 in Strawberry Plains, TN to Robert and Ebelyn (Linsley) Emory. Mr. Emory was a resident of Kerrville since July 2005. He loved being outdoors, either golfing or fishing. A passion of his was collecting pocket knives and playing pool. He is predeceased by his parents; two brothers, James and Albert; and a sister Anna May. He is survived by his wife, Martha M. (McBride) Emory of Kerrville; two daughters, Jenny Dillard of Kerrville and Anglie Graves of Blaine, TN; two grandsons, Thomas L. Niel of Kerrville and Justin Graves of Blaine, TN; a granddaughter, Emma Grace Dillard of Kerrville and was anticipating the birth of a second great-grandchild, born February 4, 2009. She received her master’s degree in counseling from Western Michigan University. Virginia worked as a high school teacher and counselor for Sturgis Public Schools. During her career, she married Roger Zuercher, also a teacher at Sturgis Public Schools, at the Unitarian Church in Ft. Wayne, Ind. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Roger Zuercher of Sturgis; daughters, Marsha Corey of South Haven and Shari (Ed) Waffle of Southfield, Mich.; grandchildren, Max Corey and Logan Elizabeth Corey of South Haven; and a brother, Paul Sweet of Lake Placid, Fla. "DOLLY" East Lansing, age 79, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009 in Lansing. Rose was born March 13, 1929 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Domenico and Grace Perrino. She obtained her B.S. from Wayne State University, was a teacher in the Detroit Public Schools and retired as a medical statistical epidemiological researcher. Rose was a member of Phi Upisilon Omicron, Alpha Gamma Chapter; the American Association of University Women, the Unitarian Universilist Women's Federation, volunteered her time and talents with Sparrow Hospital, and was an active member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wagner. Surviving are her son, Dr. Robert J. Darios, M.D. and his wife, Diane Strachan of East Lansing; stepdaughter, Cheryl Wagner and her spouse, Brenda Bates of TN; three grandchildren, Emma, Scott and Brian Darios; brother, Tony Perrino and his wife, Karen Freiss-Perrino of Virginia. A Celebration of Rose's life will be held Wednesday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 520 E. Mt. Hope Ave. with Rev. L. Wayne Smith, 84, of Jonesville, passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at the McGuire Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born April 6, 1924 in Napoleon to Dwight and Frances (Rice) Smith. He was married June 15, 1950 to Sally Jones and she survives. Wayne was a former dairy farmer, he had previously worked at Kiddie Brush and Toy, Gametime and the McClure Oil Company.  Wayne was the former owner of Mill Race Golf Course in Jonesville. He was a former member of the Jonesville Lions Club, the 4-H Horse Club, the Junior Farm Bureau and Farm Bureau. Surviving besides his wife Sally are three sons, Thomas and Scott Smith, both of Jonesville and Steven Smith and Ruth Ann Maxon of Kalamazoo; three grandchildren, Justin, Chad and Chelsea; and two great-grandchildren, Drew and Falyn. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Carolyn McCloud and LuNell Floyd. Memorial services for Wayne Smith will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Eagle Funeral Home in Jonesville with Pastor Craig Pahl officiating.  Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Jefferson Township. Wells W. Beebe, age 92, of Hillsdale, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at his home. He was born Jan. 7, 1917 in Rome Center to Charles  and Mable (Wells) Beebe. He was married April 20, 1941 in Adrian to Donna Baragar and she survives. Wells was a 1935 graduate of Adrian High School and was the former owner of Hillsdale Cartage Company. He was a member of College Baptist Church and the Sons of the American Revolution. He was an avid deer hunter and ice fisherman. Surviving besides his wife, Donna are a son, Bill Beebe of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Sharon (John) Flowers of Crystal Falls, Mich.; two brothers, Weldon (Alice) Beebe and Donald (Evelyn) Beebe both of Adrian; and a grandson, Jake Flowers of Seward, Alaska. Wells was preceded in death by his parents, twin daughters, Katherine and Shirley, and a brother Wayne. Funeral services for Wells W. Beebe will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Pastor Jason Mekelburg officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsdale.
