Beverly Jean Miller Holt Beverly passed away peacefully on April 12, 2010, surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Argel Miller, daughter, Jackie Sue and sisters; Emilee Hamilton, Mary Berry and Marian Wermuth. She was born October 19, 1932 to Karl and Anna Wermuth. Bev worked for the Lansing School District for many years as a teacher's aide. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends whether it was going to grand kids outings or being a person you could count on to give a smile or a listening ear. Bev also enjoyed cheering on the Spartans. She is survived by her two children, Vicki (Rick) Kroetsch of Lansing and Ben (Cee Cee) Miller of Mason; grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda), Tyler Kroetsch and Dustin and Rachel Miller; great grandchildren, Skylar and Saydee Kroetsch. She will be missed by her family and her many friends at Stratford Place. Visitation will be at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 2-5 p.m. at the Dodge Funeral Home in Middleton MI. Services will be held at New Haven Church of God, 8102 W. David Gale Hammond of Colon, and formerly of North Adams, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the Battle Creek Health System. He was born July 22, 1949, in Hillsdale County, a son of Dale and Eleanor (Winner) Hammond. Mr. Hammond worked for many years as a prison guard for the State of Michigan Department of Corrections in Jackson, and later worked in the Quality Control Department at the Eaton Corporation in Three Rivers. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his mother, Eleanor “Virginia” Rhoades of Hillsdale; three daughters, Stacy (Joseph) Hodges of Quincy, Kimberly “K.C.” Saxton of Jonesville and Christina (James) Young of Jonesville; a son, David Hugh Hammond of Georgia; a stepdaughter, Francine (Richard) Nickles of Reading; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers; and a sister and his fiancee, Debbie Swafford of Colon. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother; and a grandchild. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the Hampton-Kurtz Funeral Home in North Adams. David M. Croy, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Dave was born April 2, 1932 in Bronson, the son of Glenn B. and Lenora (Jackson) Croy and resided in Portage. He was employed by Consumers Energy, first as a tree trimmer and retired as a supervisor after 32 years. Dave was a long serving member of the Consumers Credit Union board. Dave served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army. On Aug. 1, 1952, he married Vivian Williams, who preceded him in death on Sept. 2, 1988. He was also preceded by his parents. While Dave LIVED with cancer, he never asked “why me,” but rather “why not me.” His positive attitude was an inspiration to other patients. Donald “Keith” Vroman, 88, of Adrian passed away Monday, April12, 2010, at his home under theloving care of his wife,and Hospice of Lenawee. Keith wasborn July19, 1921, in Fair Haven, Mich., the son of Elton and Una (Burns) Vroman. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard. On October 4, 1963, Keith married the love of his life, Kathleen Cruickshank in Adrian. Kathleen, his wife of more than 46 years, survives. Keith was an entrepreneur. He owned and operated several businesses including Vroman Beverage, which was the Pepsi Cola Distributor for Lenawee County, and a family restaurant, Park Side Lounge in Southgate. After retiring in 1971, Keith and Kathleen traveled extensively. They lived on the ocean in Florida for 10 years, returning to Michigan in 1988. Keith loved people, and his positive attitude made him a joy to be around. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Jean Marie Ware of Salem, Ohio, and many treasured nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, Frank Langley; three brothers, Robert Langley, Russell Langley and Frank Langley; and two sisters, Ruth Ann Waines and Shirley Lee Vroman. The funeral service for Keith will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Wagley Funeral Home with the Rev. James Splitt and the Rev. Kathleen Splitt officiating. Durwood  Sadewasser, 87, died peacefully in his sleep at home on Thursday, April 8, 2010, with his family present. Durwood was born on Dec. 19, 1922, to Fred and Martha (Holtz) Sadewasser.  He married Beryl (Fennell) Warble on June 14, 1947 in Centreville, Mich.  She survives along with their daughters Connie (Bill) Meyers and Cathy (Alan) Hawkins, both of Elkhart; eight grandchildren, a number of great grand-children, three nieces and one nephew.   He was preceded in death by his daughter, Phyllis (Warble) Sullivan, his sister, Donna Gloor, and his brother, Dale Sadewasser.   He was involved in farming, maintenance and was an all-round handyman, being skilled at home carpentry and woodworking.  On July 4, 1951, he and Beryl were baptized and became faithful witnesses  for  Jehovah.  Durwood will be remembered for his zeal for Bible study, meetings and the ministry.  His bright smile, love of life, and his humor will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.   Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. April 17 at the Elkhart North Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1921 Jeanwood Dr.  with Elder Ron Marshall officiating.   Memorials may be given to the Elkhart North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart is assisting with arrangements.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.billingsfuneralhome.com.

She retired from St. Lawrence Hospital as a Histotechnologist. Elizabeth wintered at Amelia Island, Florida, was an avid golfer at the Grand Ledge Country Club, a devout bird watcher and loved spending summers at Lake Michigan "Birchwood" community. She is survived by her children, Kathi (Bruce) Dunn of Grand Ledge and Mike (Kristy) Zakas of New Mexico; grandchildren, Nicole and A.J.; sister Robin (Jim) Olson of California. A memorial service with a meal to follow will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010, 11:30 a.m. at the Grand Ledge Opera House 121 South Bridge Street Grand Ledge, Michigan 48837. Else Lucie Wheelock, age 79, died April 14, 2010. Else was born Aug. 20, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Grete (Galle) and Hans Carl. She married Bernard Wheelock in 1949. They moved to Adrian and in 1950 she gave birth to twins Martha and Thomas. Else graduated from Devilbiss High School in 1948, and attended the University of Toledo. The Toledo Turners were an important part of her and her family’s life. During the 2nd World War she traveled to USO shows as a youth member of the Patricia Hermas’ Dance Company.   In 1955 she organized the Children’s and Women’s gym classes for the Adrian YMCA. As a member she enjoyed many classes and was on several winning volleyball teams into the 1980s. A passionate golfer, Else was a member of the Wolfette Golf League, where she will be fondly remembered for “no gimmies!” She loved the Adrian Symphony Orchestra and they treated her with such love and respect. She worked for Jim Green’s Men’s Store for 22 years. Most recently, Else worked nine years for Adrian Curves for Women. Mom’s volunteerism meant a great deal to her. She was proud to work 14 years with the Bixby Hospital Auxiliary and the Croswell Opera House for 20 years. Else is survived by her daughter, Martha (Greg) Schoonover of Adrian; son, Thomas (Lynn) Wheelock of Iowa; grandson, Ryan Schoonover of Adrian; and great-granddaughter, Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grete and Hans Carl; and her husband of 42 years, Bernard Wheelock. At her request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010, at the Wagley Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 17, at the Adrian First United Methodist Church starting at 11 a.m., with a luncheon following the service. Glenda was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed reading, playing shuffleboard and spending time with her family and friends.  On Jan. 25, 1957, she married Dennis Begley and he preceded her in death. Survivors include daughters Brenda (Jesse) Teller of Bronson and Denise Piddock of Jackson, son Harry Clyde Begley of Quincy, sister Ruth Underwood of Knoxville, Tenn. and seven grandchildren: Torey, Mark, Mathew and Tashia Piddock, and Jeremiah and Wesley Teller, and Derrick Begley She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers David, Frank and Clarence, son-in-law Martin Piddock and her former husband Dennis Begley. Funeral services will be held Monday, 1 p.m., at the George White Funeral Home, Reading, with Pastor Dave Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Reading. Howard I. Esterline, 92, of Adrian passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Grand Court.   Howard was born Nov. 13, 1917, in Jonesville, Mich., the youngest son of Elwood and Alida (Renner) Esterline. During World War II, he served his country in the Army. On July 8, 1942, Howard married Kathryn E. Luke in Palo Alto, Calif.  Kathryn, his wife of more than 67 years, survives. Howard worked for Consumer Power Company when he returned from service. For several years he was the co-owner of Industrial Wood Products which he sold in 1963. He then worked as a Juvenile Detective for the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department, where he also served in the mounted division. Howard retired from Bixby Hospital as their Personnel Director. Howard truly enjoyed being with his family. He loved fishing and playing golf. He was a member of the Lenawee Country Club. Howard is survived by two sons, William (Pamela) Esterline and Donald (Katy) Esterline, both of Manitou Beach; four grandchildren, Bryan (Cory) Esterline of Commerce Township, Mich., Heather Esterline (Joe Lange) of Bellaire, Mich., Wynn (Amy) Esterline of Manitou Beach and Dane (Sarah) Esterline of Tecumseh; and seven great-grandchildren, Jackson, Caitlyn, Ty, Hunter, Jett, Andrew and Ellie Mae. He was preceded in death by a brother, Cleo Esterline. At Howard’s request, cremation will take place. Private graveside services will be held at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park. Jeanette May Dunn, age 86, of Three Rivers, went to be with her Lord on March 28, 2010 at Riverview Manor.  She was born May 5, 1923, in Three Rivers, a daughter of Marshall and Gleeola (Driesbach)Prange. Jeanette has been a lifelong resident of Three Rivers. She was employed for more than 25 years at Three Rivers Area Hospital, eventually retiring as the administrative secretary to the director of nursing, of which she was extremely proud. She and her husband loved to travel, often taking their grandchildren with them, and truly loved spending time with family and friends. On May 19, 1942, Jeanette married the love of her life, Mr. Raymond Dunn.He preceded her in death, along with her parents, brothers Jack and Charles Prange, and infant sister, Ethel Prange. She leaves to cherish her loving memory a daughter, Patricia Brundige of Three Rivers; a son, Michael (Cathy) Dunn of Three Rivers; a  brother, Marshall (Arlene) Prange II of Three Rivers; grandchildren Michelle (Marty) Wegner of Freeland, Jill Brundige of Delton, Dr. Lorrie Brundige of Three Rivers, Jennifer (Mitchell) Hutchinson of Jupiter, Fla. , Kimberly (Stephen) Wojcieszak of Okeechobee, Fla., and Kristy (Marcus) Moss of Palacios, Texas; great-grandchildren Emily, Brent, and Eric Wegner, Aubrey and Cody Wojcieszak, and Wesley and Kolby Moss;  and many friends. A memorial celebration of Jeanette’s life will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Centre Park United Methodist Church, with the Rev. John J. Gimenez, 84, of Hudson, passed away, Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Tendercare in Adrian. He was born Jan. 22, 1926, in Eastland, Texas, the son of Guadelupe and Josephina (Delo Santos) Gimenez. He married Barbara Shadbolt in Las Vegas, Nev. on Dec. 26, 1989, and she survives.                                         John worked in the seal coat and asphalt business for years. He was a U.S. Navy World War II Veteran and member of the Hillsdale American Legion.                                                                  Surviving John besides his wife, Barbara, of Hudson, are one daughter, Eva (Darrel) Sowle of Osseo; one son, John Gimenez of Pensacola, Fla.; three stepdaughters, Cathy (Mike) McNicol of Hudson, Connie (Charles) Ford of Holly, Mich. and Chris (Bob) Galbreath of Winter Garden, Fla.; one stepson, Ken (Dena) Kreighbaum of Marion, Ind.; one sister, Connie (Rudy) Negrete of Topeka, Kansas; five brothers, Jessie (Betty) of Hillsdale, Lupe (Martha) of Leeds Hill, Ark., Richard and Jerry both of Toledo, Ohio and Tino (Desi) of Thousand Palms, Calif.; 24 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.                             He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lillian Cantu and two brothers, Rudy andManuel Gimenez.                   Funeral services for John will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson with the Rev. John Raymond “Ray” Neagu, age 60, of Three Rivers, died Monday, April 12, 2010, at his home following a 10-year illness.  He was born in Gary, Ind.,  on June 15, 1949, the son of John and Katherine (Garvey) Neagu Jr.  He graduated from Merrillville High School and later attended Indiana University.  Ray served in the U.S. Army before returning to Indiana where he worked for U.S. Steel in Gary.  When poor health forced his retirement, he worked briefly for Ameritech and for Hallmark R.V. in Bristol, Ind.  Ray had an appreciation for antiques and enjoyed photography. Ray is survived by his mother, Katherine Neagu of Centreville;  a sister, Doreen Mudrich (Pete) of DeMotte, Ind.; two uncles, Nick Neagu and George Neagu and wife, Jan;  an aunt, Dorothy Konopacki; and several cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father and by a nephew, Peter John Mudrich. Cremation has been conducted.  A military committal of his ashes will take place later in Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Mich.  Assistance was provided by the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel of Three Rivers. Julius Hoffman Ph.D.

Julius Hoffman, Ph.D. East Lansing Julius Romanoff Hoffman, Ph.D. died April 14, 2010. He was born August 1, 1919 in Toledo, Ohio to Jacob and Sarah R. Hoffman. He graduated in 1940 from Ohio State University and received a BA in Entomology and Toxicology. In 1949 he completed his Master's degree and a Ph.D. from Cornell University. In 1942, the beginning of WWII he enlisted in The U.S. Navy and was commissioned as an Ensign. He served for four years, participating in three invasions as a landing craft officer and received the Purple Heart Award. After 30 years of United States Navel Reserve Service, he retired as a captain in 1979. He came to Michigan State University in 1949 as an Assistant Professor in the Entomology Department. He worked at the Michigan Agricultural Experimental Station. He specialized in nursery and greenhouse pests. He also was involved in Acarology research spending time at the University of Utrecht in Amsterdam. He became academic Assistant Dean in the College of Natural Science in 1962 and continued there until his retirement in 1986. He was affiliated with the Entomologic Society of America; the Acarology Society of America; the American Association of Advancement of Science; Sigma XI (1949); The National and Central Association of Health Advisors; The Retired Officer's Association; Radio Talking Books and Future Farmer's Association. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Alice (Jeffers) Hoffman; Sons Joel (Kathleen) Hoffman of Okemos, MI, Peter (Betty) Hoffman of Houston, TX; daughters Janet (Thomas) Feurig of Mat Lacha, Florida, Elaine (Randy) Rauch of Flushing, MI; grandchildren Nicole (Eric) McGaugh of East Lansing, MI, Sarah Hoffman, New York, NY, Alice Hoffman of Houston, TX, Christopher Feurig of Chicago, IL, Megan Feurig of Mat Lacha, Florida, Jonathan Rauch and David Rauch of Flushing; and great-grandchild Mitchel McGaugh. Leo Joseph Powers East Lansing Leo Joseph Powers died at the age of 85 peacefully at his home in East Lansing on April 15, 2010. Leo was born on February 25, 1925 in Lansing, the son of Joseph and Hazel Powers. Leo was a veteran of WWII where he served in the United States Navy aboard the USS West Virginia. During his service to his country, Leo refined his welding skills until his honorable discharge on February 17, 1946. Leo used his military welding training as an employee of Boichot Concrete from where he retired in 1984. Leo was predeceased by his first wife, Lois in 1959, and second wife, Bernice (Gma Bernie) in December of 2007; his parents Joe in 1975 and Hazel in 1979, and one sister, Dorothy Ewing in 2005. Leo is survived by his daughter, Terri Westmoreland (Marvin) of Lansing; step-daughter Sue Mox (Lloyd) of DeWitt; grandchildren, Michelle Morris (Dan) of Holt, Melissa Hinkle (Jeff) of Lansing, Angelina Scarpelli (Scott) of Midland, and Rodney Mox (Karen) of Hickory Corners, and five great-grandchildren: Austin Darrow, Gabrielle and Ian Hinkle, and Emily and Kaitlyn Mox. Surviving siblings are: Patricia Forbes of Holt, William Powers (Lucy) of Dimondale, Joe Powers (Edna), of Dimondale, Veronica Blackburn (Mel) and Suzanne VanOtteren all of Lansing. Leo has several nieces and nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends. After his retirement, in addition to taking care of his invalid wife, Bernie, Leo loved to make wood working projects in his basement. Many family members and friends are very fortunate to own one of Leo's many projects to always remind them of Leo and his passion for woodworking. The family would like to thank Leo's special caregivers from Care Solutions and all of the staff at East Lansing Independence Village for their unceasing kind attention and loving care. On July 13, 1952, she married Thomas J. Grant, Sr. at the First Lutheran Church in Joliet, Ill. Norma and Tom retired to Prescott, Ariz., where they resided for many years. She is survived by her children, David N. (Lora) Grant of Braidwood, Ill., Debra L. (Michael) Cerovac of Anacortes, Wash., Thomas J. Grant, Jr. of Mesa, Ariz., Susan M. (John) Xirafakis of Adrian and Richard C. (Peggy) Grant of Shorewood, Ill.; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her treasured friends and neighbors, Patsy, Donna and Kim. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, two brothers and one sister. A memorial service honoring Norma will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Wagley Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Herter officiating. Private burial will take place in Prescott, Ariz., where Norma will be laid to rest with her husband, Thomas. Kelly, age 87, of Tecumseh, formerly of Huron Township, died April 11, 2010, in Tecumseh.  Born March 24, 1923, in Cass City, Mich., she was the daughter of Theodore and Effie (Brown) Hendrick. On Aug. 1, 1940, she married Sherwell Kelly in Gagetown, Mich. They moved to Huron Township in 1948 until 2009 when they moved to Tecumseh. Phyllis was a cook for the Huron School District for 20 years. She was a member of the Willow United Methodist Church. She loved knitting, spending time at their cabin up north and taking various bus tours over a 20-year period. Her parents and two sisters, Irene Tracy and Isabelle Whittenburg, preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband, Sherwell Kelly of Tecumseh; son, Robert Kelly of Maybee; two daughters, Jean (Dan) Chamberlain of Tecumseh and Kay (Chuck) Drouillard of Belleville; sister, Ruth Fisher of Cass City, Mich.; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services took place at 11 a.m. today, April 14, at the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Zender of Willow United Methodist Church officiating. Rex Weinberg, age 89 of Kline’s Resort, Three Rivers, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, at the Three Rivers Health emergency room.  He was born on April 1, 1921, in Vicksburg, a son of the late Watson and Zella (Davis) Weinberg. After high school, Rex worked at the Parchment Paper Mill before he met and married Frances Marker on Aug. 16, 1941, in Kalamazoo. Rex was a farmer in the Vicksburg and Mendon area, later settling at a home on Hampton Road. He and his wife operated a dry-cleaning and laundry business, and a John Deere farm equipment and lawn and garden center in Vicksburg for several years.  He was a member of the St. Joseph County Farm Bureau, and had served on the board of directors for the Federal Land Bank.  He was a 50-year member of the West Mendon United Methodist Church, and had spent the past several winters in Florida. Rex is survived by his wife, Frances; a son and daughter in law, Ron and Pat Weinberg of Mendon; a son-in-law, Patrick Jergens of Three Rivers; five grandchildren, Sheli  (Doug) Cupp of Three Rivers, Troy  (Sandra) Weinberg of  Three Rivers, Jeff (Elizabeth) Jergens of  Sturgis, Robin (Mark) Parks of Mendon, and Tim (Tonya) Jergens of Mendon; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Wilber (Ruth)  Weinberg of Mendon; a sister, Lois  (Dick) Henry of Glen Arbor; a brother-in-law, Wayne Marker; two sisters-in-law, Mary Roberts and Maxine York; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lyle and Wilson; and by a daughter, Carolyn Jergens.  The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon.  Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the West Mendon United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ward Pierce officiating. Rosemary Eubanks   March 25, 1924 — April 11, 2010 Rosemary Eubanks, 86, departed this life April 11, 2010,at the Ebeid Hospice Center.    She was greeted in heaven by her husband of 62 years, Roger Dale Eubanks who died Jan. 23 of this year.   Rosemary was born March 25, 1924, to Rose (Vetesy) and Simon Marazon.    She was preceded in death by her brothers, Simon and Louis Marazon, and Frank Krompak.  She is survived by brother Dan Marazon, and sisters Fran Krompak and Betty (John) Mikols and many nieces and nephews.   Rosie had three children, Connie (Dieter) Puska, Roger (deceased) and Alan Eubanks. Her grandchildren are Alysa, Josh, and Cassie.   Rosie was a remarkable woman who possessed strong determination and a great sense of humor.  She was stricken with polio as a young child and was partially paralyzed. With the aid of crutches and later an Amigo, Rosie lived her life to the fullest. She loved to play cards, go fishing, and share a good laugh. Music brought special joy to her life.   She and Roger enjoyed their later years living on Loon Lake near Reading, where they were blessed with wonderful neighbors.   Special thanks to their neighbors and the caretakers from All Care of Hillsdale, especially Jody. Roy Miller Nov. 9, 1935 and he preceded her in death in 2003 after 67 years of marriage. They made their home in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. for 52 years. Ruth was a member of the Birmingham United Methodist Church. She and her husband enjoyed many years of traveling in their motor coach.   Survivors include two sons, Fred (Carol) Miller of Highland and Doug (Salani) Miller of Howell; three grandchildren, Heather Ezell, Todd Miller and Genie Dudley and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by three sisters (Greta Bradley, Arla Jarvis and her twin, Ruby McClintic), five brothers (Gould, Enos, Morris, Barney and William Todd), and an infant son.   Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the George White Funeral Home, Quincy, with Pastor Craig Pahl officiating. Interment will follow in Allen Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 2-4 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday. Worth E. (Blosdale) Thomson, age 90, of Sturgis, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Worth was born Feb. 16, 1920, in Reading, a daughter to the late Dr. Carlyle E. and Gladys (Hakes) Blosdale. She graduated from Reading High School with the Class of 1937 and from International Business College in Ft. Wayne, Ind., in 1938. After graduation she went to work for an attorney in Kalamazoo and worked there for a year prior to her marriage. She later worked a short time at Douglas Mfg. in Bronson, four years for the Lamb Knit Goods Co. in Colon and 15 years for the Federal-Mogul Cargo Co. in Coldwater. She retired in 1975 when the company closed the Coldwater plant. On July 1, 1939, she married Russell C. Thompson in Reading. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2000. She had made her home in Colon, Coldwater and for the past 10 years had lived at the Villa at Thurston Woods Village. Worth and her husband Russell had travelled extensively throughout the U.S., Canada and Alaska, and spent many winters in Florida. She is survived by two daughters, Priscilla A. Davis of Lantana, Texas and Sharon W. Thompson of Sturgis; one granddaughter, Michelle Ann (Davis) Thornton of Sturgis; and two great-grandchildren, Michael Riley and Melissa Jo Thornton both of Sturgis; one brother, Carlyle (Ruth) A. Blosdale of Rogers City. Besides her husband, she was preceded by one brother, Don Blosdale; and one infant sister, Barbara Blosdale. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service and interment of cremains will take place at a later date in Matteson Township Cemetery. If desired the family ask that memorials be made in memory of Worth to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD in Colon.
