Clarence J. "Jack" Sween Springfield Clarence J. "Jack" Sween, age 81, died Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Battle Creek Health System. Clarence was born on October 9, 1929, in New Rockford, North Dakota. He was a, serving in the U.S., . Jack moved to Battle Creek after his service in the Army in 1949. He married Lillian V. DeMaso who preceded him in death in July of 2006. He retired in 1993 from the Battle Creek Public Schools bus garage. He was a volunteer, for the city of Springfield for 20 years. Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to Jones Lake Campground in Delton and spending time with his friends. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are children, Bill J. (Pam) Sween of East Leroy, John (Sally) Sween of Mason, Roxann (Naomi) Pierce of Manchester, MI, and Vicki M. Barlond of East Leroy; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; special friends, the Dellinger and Griffin families. Clarey Rita Mae July 22, 1926 - October 1, 2010. Rita's spirit has risen to heaven to meet her God, her husband and eldest son who preceded her in death. Soon she will be a part of a very special and long awaited McCrady Reunion with her parents and 10 brothers and sisters. Her death will bring to close a generation whose memories we will all cherish. Her last days were spent in the peace and comfort of her home in Sparks, Nevada with her daughter Peggy Clarey and son-in-law, Fred Conner. Rita was born at the farm on Pumping Station Road. Fairfield County, Ohio. She grew up in Sugar Grove, Ohio, attended and graduated from Berne Union School in Sugar Grove, Ohio. Rita was the youngest child born to Charles and Rosemary (Shonebarger) McCrady. Rita was married to Wilbert A. Clarey for 56 years before his death in 2006. At that time she moved to Nevada to live with her only daughter. She had four children: Daniel (Linda), Peggy (Fred), Bruce (Alise), and Andrew (Laura). She had six male grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a Nurses Aid at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital for over 20 Years. G.C.O.H. is located less that one block from the family Home on Cardwell Street, Garden City, Michigan. Her interests included playing cards, bingo, casino gambling and creating Jewelry Pictures. With "Web", she became an active and enthusiastic member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, starting in the mid 50's at Johnsons Post #78, on Joy Road in Detroit, Michigan, and ending her service at Battle Born Post #9211 on VFW Historic Lane in Reno, Nevada. She was anointed by Father Norman King from the Immaculate Conception Church. Her remains will be at the Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan. Instead of flowers or gifts, remembrances can be PAID FORWARD.

He will also be remembered for his charisma and the way he touched people on a personal level. John T. Tucker Marshall John T. Tucker, age 66, of Marshall died Saturday, October 30, 2010 at his home in the loving care of his family following a long a valiant fight with his illness. John was born on October 4, 1944 in Marshall to John W. and Betty Jean (Thomas) Tucker. He was a life long resident of this area and was a 1963 graduate of Marshall High School. Following his graduation, he began a long career with Post Division General Foods as a Tool and Die Maker. He retired in 2000 after 37 years of service. On August 16, 1969, he married the former Paula Jean Piper at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Marshall. John was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and jet skiing. He also enjoyed his many trips to upper Michigan. He was an avid collector of John Deere Tractors and Deere memorabilia. He is survived by his wife, Paula; son, John (Randi) Tucker of Marshall; daughter, Jenny (Scott) Stone of Marshall; grandchildren, Jordan Stone, Justin Stone and John James "J.J." Radtke Robert Paul 59, of Bloomfield Hills. A proud family life with Lynn, his wife, and daughters, Sarah and Alyssa. Grew up in Northwest side of Detroit and attended Henry Ford High School. The oldest of five children, Rob loved to spend summers up north with family and friends. Summers were spent fishing and roaming the woods and fields of our beautiful state. Rob graduated from Oakland University and then the National College of Chiropractic in Illinois. He worked first as an associate of George Goodheart, founder of Applied Kinesiology and later practiced privately in Birmingham for 25 years. His ability to reach bodies, hearts and minds was legendary. Rob was gifted at articulating the pilgrimage towards consciousness. Rob was the enthusiastic president of Kirkwood Lake Association for 20 years. Rob loved to fish with his brothers and friends on the beautiful Michigan waterways. All those who knew Rob knew he was the facilitator of fun and joy and true engagement in life. Survived by beloved wife Lynn and daughters Sarah and Alyssa.
