Clarey Rita Mae July 22, 1926 - October 1, 2010. Rita's spirit has risen to heaven to meet her God, her husband and eldest son who preceded her in death. Soon she will be a part of a very special and long awaited McCrady Reunion with her parents and 10 brothers and sisters. Her death will bring to close a generation whose memories we will all cherish. Her last days were spent in the peace and comfort of her home in Sparks, Nevada with her daughter Peggy Clarey and son-in-law, Fred Conner. Rita was born at the farm on Pumping Station Road. Fairfield County, Ohio. She grew up in Sugar Grove, Ohio, attended and graduated from Berne Union School in Sugar Grove, Ohio. Rita was the youngest child born to Charles and Rosemary (Shonebarger) McCrady. Rita was married to Wilbert A. Clarey for 56 years before his death in 2006. At that time she moved to Nevada to live with her only daughter. She had four children: Daniel (Linda), Peggy (Fred), Bruce (Alise), and Andrew (Laura). She had six male grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a Nurses Aid at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital for over 20 Years. G.C.O.H. is located less that one block from the family Home on Cardwell Street, Garden City, Michigan. Her interests included playing cards, bingo, casino gambling and creating Jewelry Pictures. With "Web", she became an active and enthusiastic member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, starting in the mid 50's at Johnsons Post #78, on Joy Road in Detroit, Michigan, and ending her service at Battle Born Post #9211 on VFW Historic Lane in Reno, Nevada. She was anointed by Father Norman King from the Immaculate Conception Church. Her remains will be at the Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan. Instead of flowers or gifts, remembrances can be PAID FORWARD.

Eleanor "LaWave" McCoy Battle Creek Eleanor "LaWave" McCoy, 85 of Battle Creek passed away Thursday November 25, 2010. She was born on August 13, 1925 in Battle Creek to Henry and Anna (Olsen) Gallihugh. Eleanor graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1943. She married Charles E. McCoy on September 12, 1942, he preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 1999. Eleanor was employed at several businesses over the years including Ben Franklin, Michigan Bell Telephone Company, Calhoun County Court House and as a dispatcher for Emmett Township Fire Department. She is survived by a son, Charles E. McCoy Jr., of Battle Creek, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and a special friend Sharon Richardi. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Deborah L. Rozell and Lois A. Walling, brothers, Harold and Eugene Gallihugh. Eleanor enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family. Family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8p.m. Sunday November 28, 2010 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home where services will be held 1p.m. Monday. Eleanor "Loyce" Valiquette Dowling Eleanor "Loyce" Valiquette, 73, of Dowling passed away Wednesday November 24, 2010 at Battle Creek Health System. She was born on June 6, 1937 in Greenville, MS; to Percy W. and Rilla "Inez" (Cooper) Herman. On April 14, 1962 in Dayton she married William D. Valiquette. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2007. She was employed at the Federal Center for 21 years retiring in 2005. Loyce is survived by, a daughter, Lisa Valiquette of Dowling, son, Eric (Brenda) Valiquette, of Nashville, four grandchildren, Cody Valiquette, Cassie Watson, Logan, and Megan Valiquette, two step-grandchildren: Ryan and Tiffany Watson, a brother, Wayne (Wanda) Herman, of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Gwen Howell, of Eaton, OH; and Brenda (Joe) Mays, of Dayton, OH. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Pleasantview Family Church and its choir. Loyce enjoyed traveling, going to her grandchildren's activities, and singing with her family. Radtke Robert Paul 59, of Bloomfield Hills. A proud family life with Lynn, his wife, and daughters, Sarah and Alyssa. Grew up in Northwest side of Detroit and attended Henry Ford High School. The oldest of five children, Rob loved to spend summers up north with family and friends. Summers were spent fishing and roaming the woods and fields of our beautiful state. Rob graduated from Oakland University and then the National College of Chiropractic in Illinois. He worked first as an associate of George Goodheart, founder of Applied Kinesiology and later practiced privately in Birmingham for 25 years. His ability to reach bodies, hearts and minds was legendary. Rob was gifted at articulating the pilgrimage towards consciousness. Rob was the enthusiastic president of Kirkwood Lake Association for 20 years. Rob loved to fish with his brothers and friends on the beautiful Michigan waterways. All those who knew Rob knew he was the facilitator of fun and joy and true engagement in life. Survived by beloved wife Lynn and daughters Sarah and Alyssa. Robert "Bob" V. Sisler Holt Age 58 passed away Friday, November 26, 2010. He was born January 3, 1952 in Morgantown, West Virginia to Darl and Betty Sisler. Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Nona in 2007; a grandson, Anthony Von Sisler-Kent; parents and a sister, Linda Davis. Surviving are his daughters: Tina (Terry) Prebble, and Vonda (Anthony) Fryman; grandchildren: Austin Prebble, Shelbi Prebble, Klarisa Fryman and Tyler Fryman; brothers: John (Sharon) Sisler, and Buddy (Karen) Sisler; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend Lela. Bob retired from Oldsmobile after 32 years of service. He loved his boat, fishing and his Cutlass; but most of all he loved spending time with his grandbabies. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel with Rev. Troy Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, and one hour prior to service time on Monday.
