Clarey Rita Mae July 22, 1926 - October 1, 2010. Rita's spirit has risen to heaven to meet her God, her husband and eldest son who preceded her in death. Soon she will be a part of a very special and long awaited McCrady Reunion with her parents and 10 brothers and sisters. Her death will bring to close a generation whose memories we will all cherish. Her last days were spent in the peace and comfort of her home in Sparks, Nevada with her daughter Peggy Clarey and son-in-law, Fred Conner. Rita was born at the farm on Pumping Station Road. Fairfield County, Ohio. She grew up in Sugar Grove, Ohio, attended and graduated from Berne Union School in Sugar Grove, Ohio. Rita was the youngest child born to Charles and Rosemary (Shonebarger) McCrady. Rita was married to Wilbert A. Clarey for 56 years before his death in 2006. At that time she moved to Nevada to live with her only daughter. She had four children: Daniel (Linda), Peggy (Fred), Bruce (Alise), and Andrew (Laura). She had six male grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a Nurses Aid at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital for over 20 Years. G.C.O.H. is located less that one block from the family Home on Cardwell Street, Garden City, Michigan. Her interests included playing cards, bingo, casino gambling and creating Jewelry Pictures. With "Web", she became an active and enthusiastic member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, starting in the mid 50's at Johnsons Post #78, on Joy Road in Detroit, Michigan, and ending her service at Battle Born Post #9211 on VFW Historic Lane in Reno, Nevada. She was anointed by Father Norman King from the Immaculate Conception Church. Her remains will be at the Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan. Instead of flowers or gifts, remembrances can be PAID FORWARD.

Ameen will be remembered for changing the look of photography by capturing the powerful faces of everyday people in a compelling way. He will also be remembered for his charisma and the way he touched people on a personal level. At the time of his death, Ameen was working on a book, a 40-year retrospective of his photography in Detroit. A memorial for Ameen will be held on Friday, October 8, 5-9 p.m. at his studio. Lula B. Sherbert Farmington Hills Lula Belle Sherbert, 84, of Farmington Hills died November 16, 2010 at the Courtyard Manor in Farmington Hills. She was born April 16, 1926, the daughter of Silas and Fern L. (Martin) Terwilliger in Battle Creek. Lu graduated from Bellevue High School and the Moody Bible Institute where she majored in Missions and was a member of the Moody Chorale. While attending Moody she also worked at WMBI radio as a traffic manager assistant. Lu also attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina where she majored in Art and met and married William F. Sherbert. Upon William's graduation from seminary they moved to Kingsport, Tennessee where they founded Faith Bible Church in 1950. They also served at the Houghton Lake Bible Church, the Day Bible Church, the First Baptist Church of Eaton Rapids, the Yorkville Community Church and later founded the Richland Bible Church. Lu was very involved in all the churches as pianist and organist, Children's Church and Ladies Bible Societies, as well as the choir. Lu was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 44 years, Dr. William F. Sherbert. She is survived by her children, David (Ruth) Sherbert of Grayling, Debora (Danny) Kimbrell of Edwardsburg and Dr. Daniel (Beth) Sherbert of West Bloomfield; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Rev. Wendell (Pat) Terwilliger of Indian, Alaska, Rev. Albert Elston (Imogene) Terwilliger of Yucaipa, California, Rev. Gaylord (Jean) Terwilliger of Caledonia, Michigan and Yvonne (Garrett) Herwich of Roeland Park, Kansas. Radtke Robert Paul 59, of Bloomfield Hills. A proud family life with Lynn, his wife, and daughters, Sarah and Alyssa. Grew up in Northwest side of Detroit and attended Henry Ford High School. The oldest of five children, Rob loved to spend summers up north with family and friends. Summers were spent fishing and roaming the woods and fields of our beautiful state. Rob graduated from Oakland University and then the National College of Chiropractic in Illinois. He worked first as an associate of George Goodheart, founder of Applied Kinesiology and later practiced privately in Birmingham for 25 years. His ability to reach bodies, hearts and minds was legendary. Rob was gifted at articulating the pilgrimage towards consciousness. Rob was the enthusiastic president of Kirkwood Lake Association for 20 years. Rob loved to fish with his brothers and friends on the beautiful Michigan waterways. All those who knew Rob knew he was the facilitator of fun and joy and true engagement in life. Survived by beloved wife Lynn and daughters Sarah and Alyssa. Terrence James Telder Battle Creek Terrence James Telder, 70, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 at his home. He was born November 19, 1939 in Anchorage, Alaska the son of Harry and Clarice (Evarts) Telder. Terry came to Michigan when he was 14 years old. He graduated from Wyoming Park High School in Grand Rapids and from Ferris State University in 1966. He married Elizabeth Pickett on September 10, 2004 in Tampa, Florida. Terry enjoyed reading and all sports except soccer. He enjoyed golf and all forms of motor sports. He also enjoyed singing karaoke and telling Reader Digest jokes. Terry served 4 years in the, , from 1958-1962. He worked in the trucking business for 20 years and finished out his career for 17 years with Battle Creek Unlimited. He was a member of the PNA, American Legion, Post 298, and The Eagles. He is survived by his wife; son, Brett (Rachel) Telder; stepdaughter, Theresa McDarmont; stepson, Gary M. Arnold; brother, Tim (Lyn) Telder; grandchildren, Madison, Zachery, and Jason; and 3 step-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sons, Eric and Kurt Telder; and sister, Patricia.
