Clarey Rita Mae July 22, 1926 - October 1, 2010. Rita's spirit has risen to heaven to meet her God, her husband and eldest son who preceded her in death. Soon she will be a part of a very special and long awaited McCrady Reunion with her parents and 10 brothers and sisters. Her death will bring to close a generation whose memories we will all cherish. Her last days were spent in the peace and comfort of her home in Sparks, Nevada with her daughter Peggy Clarey and son-in-law, Fred Conner. Rita was born at the farm on Pumping Station Road. Fairfield County, Ohio. She grew up in Sugar Grove, Ohio, attended and graduated from Berne Union School in Sugar Grove, Ohio. Rita was the youngest child born to Charles and Rosemary (Shonebarger) McCrady. Rita was married to Wilbert A. Clarey for 56 years before his death in 2006. At that time she moved to Nevada to live with her only daughter. She had four children: Daniel (Linda), Peggy (Fred), Bruce (Alise), and Andrew (Laura). She had six male grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a Nurses Aid at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital for over 20 Years. G.C.O.H. is located less that one block from the family Home on Cardwell Street, Garden City, Michigan. Her interests included playing cards, bingo, casino gambling and creating Jewelry Pictures. With "Web", she became an active and enthusiastic member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, starting in the mid 50's at Johnsons Post #78, on Joy Road in Detroit, Michigan, and ending her service at Battle Born Post #9211 on VFW Historic Lane in Reno, Nevada. She was anointed by Father Norman King from the Immaculate Conception Church. Her remains will be at the Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan. Instead of flowers or gifts, remembrances can be PAID FORWARD. |

Howrani Ameen Age 69, passed away on October 2, 2010. Beloved husband of Arlene for 30 years. Loving father to Ara Howrani and Ana (Joel) Howrani Heeres. Survivors include brothers Faris (Carlene) Howrani, John (Terri) Howrani, and sister Mary Catherine (Duane) Ashley, as well as brother-in-law Kenneth Yagoobian. Ameen will be remembered for changing the look of photography by capturing the powerful faces of everyday people in a compelling way. He will also be remembered for his charisma and the way he touched people on a personal level. Neil Bryce Bemis Yuba City, CA Neil Bryce Bemis, age 80, of Yuba City, CA and formerly of Marshall died November 06, 2010. Mr. Bemis was born on April 3, 1930 in Marshall to Harold J. and Grace (Hartman) Bemis. He had lived in the Marshall area the majority of his life, moving to Yuba City, CA in 1997. He was a graduate of Marshall High School and had been employed by Felpausch Food Center in Marshall. He retired in March 1992, after 19 years of service. Other employment included the Kroger Grocery Store, Sullivan Dairy and Schafer Bakery. For several years, Mr. Bemis owned and operated the Village Markets in Burlington and Tekonsha. Mr. Bemis served with the United States Air National Guard for 36 months On December 10, 1948, he married the former Anita M. Scherer in Marshall. Mr. Bemis served as the Burlington Village Clerk in the 1960's. He had been an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church and served on the church's board during the 1950's. He had also attended the Tekonsha Baptist Church in the 1970's and the East Eckford Church in the 1990's. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and gardening. He is survived by his wife Anita M. Bemis; daughters, Norma Bemis of Battle Creek and Dawn (Brett) Mathieson of Yuba City, CA; sons, Harold L. Bemis of Cleveland Heights, OH and Timothy M. Bemis of Griffith, IN; grandchildren, Beth McNeeley and Jennifer Wendt and Jorge Zapata. He was preceded in death by sisters, Annie "Isabel" Palmer, Mildred Stevens, Ruth Vanderkarr, Thelma Pardoe, Jean Williams and Maxine Miller. Radtke Robert Paul 59, of Bloomfield Hills. A proud family life with Lynn, his wife, and daughters, Sarah and Alyssa. Grew up in Northwest side of Detroit and attended Henry Ford High School. The oldest of five children, Rob loved to spend summers up north with family and friends. Summers were spent fishing and roaming the woods and fields of our beautiful state. Rob graduated from Oakland University and then the National College of Chiropractic in Illinois. He worked first as an associate of George Goodheart, founder of Applied Kinesiology and later practiced privately in Birmingham for 25 years. His ability to reach bodies, hearts and minds was legendary. Rob was gifted at articulating the pilgrimage towards consciousness. Rob was the enthusiastic president of Kirkwood Lake Association for 20 years. Rob loved to fish with his brothers and friends on the beautiful Michigan waterways. Margaret V. "Ginny" Moore Holt Margaret Moore, a long-time resident of Holt, Michigan passed away November 10, 2010 at the age of 89 years old. She was born April 12, 1921, in Coleman, MI. Margaret, also known as "Grandma Ginny" to many was a "tell it like it is" type of woman. She loved the game of baseball and was a true Detroit Tigers fan. She made it a point to never miss watching a game. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Ginny was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She had worked at Wyeth Company in Mason until their closing. Surviving are: daughter, Carol Chiesa; son, James (Cheryl) Mills; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson; She was preceded in death by: her husband, Thomas Moore; her son, Robert Mills; her daughter, Joanne Mills; her parents, Frank and Bessie Kelly; her siblings, Leo and Lorne Kelly and Francis Powers; and her son-in-law, Alan Chiesa. The funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3815 S. Cedar St., Lansing, with The Rev. Fr. John A. Byers as celebrant. Williams Josephine Mabel (Nee Kramer) Age 80 of Utica, died peacefully Saturday, October 2, 2010 after a 7 year battle with Alzheimer's. She is survived by her only daughter Donna (Michael) Kemper, her niece Marie (David) Vanker, and her nephews John Kramer and Raymond (Yvonne) Kramer plus several grandnieces and grandnephews.
