Clarey Rita Mae July 22, 1926 - October 1, 2010. Rita's spirit has risen to heaven to meet her God, her husband and eldest son who preceded her in death. Soon she will be a part of a very special and long awaited McCrady Reunion with her parents and 10 brothers and sisters. Her death will bring to close a generation whose memories we will all cherish. Her last days were spent in the peace and comfort of her home in Sparks, Nevada with her daughter Peggy Clarey and son-in-law, Fred Conner. Rita was born at the farm on Pumping Station Road. Fairfield County, Ohio. She grew up in Sugar Grove, Ohio, attended and graduated from Berne Union School in Sugar Grove, Ohio. Rita was the youngest child born to Charles and Rosemary (Shonebarger) McCrady. Rita was married to Wilbert A. Clarey for 56 years before his death in 2006. At that time she moved to Nevada to live with her only daughter. She had four children: Daniel (Linda), Peggy (Fred), Bruce (Alise), and Andrew (Laura). She had six male grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a Nurses Aid at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital for over 20 Years. G.C.O.H. is located less that one block from the family Home on Cardwell Street, Garden City, Michigan. Her interests included playing cards, bingo, casino gambling and creating Jewelry Pictures. With "Web", she became an active and enthusiastic member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, starting in the mid 50's at Johnsons Post #78, on Joy Road in Detroit, Michigan, and ending her service at Battle Born Post #9211 on VFW Historic Lane in Reno, Nevada. She was anointed by Father Norman King from the Immaculate Conception Church. Her remains will be at the Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan. Instead of flowers or gifts, remembrances can be PAID FORWARD.

Ameen will be remembered for changing the look of photography by capturing the powerful faces of everyday people in a compelling way. He will also be remembered for his charisma and the way he touched people on a personal level. At the time of his death, Ameen was working on a book, a 40-year retrospective of his photography in Detroit. A memorial for Ameen will be held on Friday, October 8, 5-9 p.m. at his studio. Radtke Robert Paul 59, of Bloomfield Hills. A proud family life with Lynn, his wife, and daughters, Sarah and Alyssa. Grew up in Northwest side of Detroit and attended Henry Ford High School. The oldest of five children, Rob loved to spend summers up north with family and friends. Summers were spent fishing and roaming the woods and fields of our beautiful state. Rob graduated from Oakland University and then the National College of Chiropractic in Illinois. He worked first as an associate of George Goodheart, founder of Applied Kinesiology and later practiced privately in Birmingham for 25 years. His ability to reach bodies, hearts and minds was legendary. Rob was gifted at articulating the pilgrimage towards consciousness. Rob was the enthusiastic president of Kirkwood Lake Association for 20 years. Rob loved to fish with his brothers and friends on the beautiful Michigan waterways. All those who knew Rob knew he was the facilitator of fun and joy and true engagement in life. Survived by beloved wife Lynn and daughters Sarah and Alyssa. Vada L. Carpenter Homer Vada L. Carpenter, 73, formerly of Battle Creek, went to be with the Lord after a long battle with liver cancer on Friday, November 12, 2010. She was born July 11, 1937 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Jesse Paul and Kathryn (Bacon) Rizor. She graduated from Battle Creek Central in 1954. She married Ralph Carpenter, Jr. on March 3, 1956. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church and was very active as a greeter, young at heart group, catering meals, and she enjoyed making Christmas baskets each year. She was a stay at home mom until her children were older and then worked part time for Baker Brothers Cleaners and H and R Block for 10 years and then did taxes for friends and family from home. She is survived by her husband; 4 children, Ralph (Julia) Carpenter III, Paul (Marci) Carpenter, Martha (Galen) Keifer, and Carol (Doug) Clemons; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; special friends, Paul (Lola) Mowrey, Steve ( Sheila) Lovett, and Martha Corkins; and several special cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. High School and joined the, shortly thereafter, serving in the, for 4 years. He worked for Darling Building Supply, Ledges Builder's Supply and Vander Wall Brothers as a brick salesman. Larry is survived by sons, Scott (Barb) Wells, Mark (Bobbi) Wells; 7 grandsons, Corey, Kace, Dusty, Dylan, Travis, Craig and Curtis Wells; great granddaughter, Kylie. He was preceded in death by his mother Inez, his wife of 55 years and the love of his life, Barbara.
